So I purchased the downloadable desktop version of QB Premier only to find out from QB that they no longer support desktop payroll and if I wanted payroll services I’d need to buy their cloud-based program of Premier and then add payroll services.

Now looking for an inexpensive payroll software that is stand-alone. Very disappointed with Amazon and QB. Intuit continues to undermine the Desktop version to push end users to online. They tout improvements and features, but really this is a step down from previous years for Desktop version.

Even though we do a significant amount of Quickbooks support for clients, if a competitor released a comparable version, I would switch clients to that very quickly. Not Peachtree though.

It is even worse. Quickbooks is what happens when a company has no real competition and decides that this is the year to milk end users dry. It was easy to download and setup. Amazon had the file ready for download immediately along with my license and product id. I had the product downloaded and my company setup within 30 minutes. I tried every way there is to download. It will not download. I have all the requirements to download. I enter both of numbers and there is no activation.

This product did not work even after uninstalling and reinstalling 3 times Had to purchase a different copy in order to have a working copy of Quickbooks. Please refund me the money as I had to unistall from my computer. This person has been good to work with but it has taken another hours out of 2 days, completely halting productivity.

This has cost me well over a thousand dollars in down time, accounting fees, and independent tech support fees. QB now has my company file and access password at it’s data center to find the corruption in the code.

Saying that anything I enter in QB during this time will need to be redone in a week if they succeed infixing the issue. QB is essentially hamstringing my companies ability to produce and conduct business, offering no compensation for the disruption ongoing since March when I was upgraded due to discontinued service of with only an apology for the inconvenience.
