If the software asks you for a product key, you are using the wrong version of Windows 10 to upgrade. For example, you might be attempting to install Windows 10 Home over your existing Windows 8. The following steps are the same as if you install via direct download. Click Accept. The software takes a couple of minutes to check your system.

I have two laptops with Windows 10 Home on them. Can I use my new full version of windows 10 Pro that I bought for my desktop to upgrade my two desktops or do I need to buy a new copy of Windows 10 Pro for each laptop?
