Maybe it’s just that we’ve been too busy leading REAL lives than to pay our undivided attention to some machine! I really like Works too. It’s easy to use and it lets the user be as creative as they’d like to be.

All I can surmise is that Microsoft hasn’t made enough money yet so they keep changing their systems to get us to buy new programming or pc’s etc. I don’t know about you but I still do use pen and paper. It may not be as exciting or as quick as the internet but it sure is a lot less stressful!

Feb 24,  · I have years of Works Database income and expense files dating back to Now I get this new laptop and I find out I cant use my Microsoft Works version to access old files or continue with new ones. I have the Microsoft Works CD disk that I bought about 5 years ago when I had to upgrade to Win 7. This new laptop doesn’t have a CD drive. Contrary to other guides out there, Microsoft Works will NOT install on Windows 10 bit. The install will fail midway through. We’re unsure if Works can be installed in Windows 10 bit.
